| I decided to take in a tour at Hearst Castle to get out of the storm for a while. I'd never taken tour 3 so I grabbed a ticket and went. It's not as popular as tours 1 & 2, evidenced by the fact there were only three people on the tour including me. But that was actually a good thing, we had our own tour guide and she let us go see some areas of the house they usually can't show to larger groups (and in a couple of cases don't show at all). It was very cool and felt a little sneaky when we got to explore a couple of the rooms off the "designated route". The others tours we would pass kept checking us out wondering why our little group was getting the rock star treatment. |
